We, Dostie App, recognise that your privacy is of paramount importance and we are deeply committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy ("Policy") outlines our practices for collecting, using, and disclosing your data when you use our mobile application called "Dostie App" (the "Platform" or "Application"). References to "we", "our", or "us" shall mean the Platform and/or Dostie App. Any references to "you" or "your" shall mean any person or entity using our Platform, i.e., the Hosts and Users.
This Policy is a paramount aspect of, and should be read in conjunction with, the Dostie App Terms of Use and the Content and Community Guidelines. By using this Platform, you expressly agree to the terms and conditions of this Policy. You also agree to our use and sharing of your Personal Information (as defined below) as described in this Policy. The capitalised words used in this Policy but not defined here shall have the meanings given to them in the Terms. If you do not agree with the terms and conditions of this Policy, we would request that you abstain from using this Platform. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as outlined in this Policy.
We gather various categories of data to deliver and enhance our Services. These are detailed below alongside their respective purposes.

Any content on your public profile or another user's profile, such as a bio, is accessible to everyone, including search engines. This includes information on your profile page. When you submit or share content you choose to make public, it may be re-shared by others. You should think carefully about who you share with, as people who can see your activity on our Platform can choose to re-share it with others both on and off the platform. For example, as a host, your profile image is visible to users, and they can download or re-share that content with others.
We may share your Personal Information with any member of our Group. The term "Group" shall mean any entity that is controlled by us, or any entity that is in control of us, or any entity that is under common control with us, whether directly or indirectly. We do this to provide consistent services across our products and for the purposes outlined in this Policy.

We shall never rent or sell your Personal Information to third parties for their independent use, except on an anonymised basis, unless expressly stipulated in these Terms.
We are dedicated to safeguarding your Personal Information. We have implemented suitable technical and security measures to protect the data we collect and process.
We store your data on the Utho cloud platform. These servers are located in India and abroad. The cloud provider implements robust security measures to protect your information, and its security practices are detailed on its respective websites. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and not sharing the access with anyone.
You retain the right to modify, update, or delete Personal Information associated with your account at any time by accessing your profile page after logging in. Additionally, you may choose to opt out of receiving unwanted communications by following the instructions provided within the respective message. You also have the right to withdraw your consent for the ongoing collection of your information. Please be advised that revoking your consent may adversely impact your ability to use the Platform.
To delete your account from the Platform, please use the 'Delete Account' option in the app's settings. See our Account Deletion page for details.
Our Platform may contain links to and from the websites of our partners, advertisers, and other third parties. These websites have their own privacy policies, and we do not accept any responsibility or liability for them. Please check their policies before submitting any personal data.
In situations in which Dostie App offers you the option to subscribe to any Email/RCS/Voice/SMS/WhatsApp service that will keep you updated with news or information that it considers may be of interest to you, your use of the content received from these services will be subject to these Terms and Conditions.
Dostie App has a dedicated Grievance Officer to address your concerns regarding data safety, privacy, and Platform usage. We will resolve the issues you have raised within 7 (seven) days of receiving them.
